Commentary: How Low Will O.J. Go? (Part 2)

It seems as though News Corp. (owners of the Fox TV Network and ReganBooks) grew a conscience in the last week and is canceling both the publishing of O.J. Simpson's book and the two-hour interview. The bombardment of criticism for both projects led the chairman, Rupert Murdoch, and other senior management at News Corp. to conclude "that this was an ill-considered project." When announcing the cancellation of both the book and t.v. special Murdoch apologized to the families of Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman for any grief this incident may have caused them. Prior to this decision, several Fox affiliates announced that they would not air the television special.
